I was hoping this cover would be high quality (because of the price) and would fit the kindle snugly. The Kindle snaps into place in the plastic part very well, but the top part of the cover is flimsy and poorly made. There is no hinge on the cover, it is only fabric which has me worried that it will tear easily. Also, the top part of the cover is very thin so the screen is not afforded much protection when you put it in your bag or in a closed space.The cover also scratches easily. It feels more like cheap plastic than leather. I immediately sent it back. Amazon should be ashamed at this product and how poor the quality is, let alone the fact that they charge an arm and a leg for it. I feel even worse for those that shoveled out an extra $20 for the lighted cover.
